The above examination is performed with the well-known oximeter, which is placed on the finger. Within a few seconds, the oximeter will measure the pulses and the hemoglobin oxygen saturation (SpO2). Basic conditions for reliable measurement are no smoking in the last hour, unpainted nails, clean fingers, and no intense physical exercise prior. Use of the middle finger is recommended due to the larger surface area on the reading sensor.

Instructions for Use:

• Place the finger into the rubber opening of the oximeter, with the nail surface facing upwards, and release the clip.
• Press the power button to turn on the oximeter.
• Do not move your finger during measurement. The oximeter will automatically turn off 10 seconds after removing your finger.
