Malifaux, a distorted mirror of an alternate Earth in the early 1900s, is a world of gothic horror, Victorian architecture, steampunk constructions, and Wild West pistols. Full of undead mixes, terrifying ghostly revenge, and other creatures that appear at night, these almost anarchic areas are worth traversing for those who dare, as the Soulstones hidden deep within the winding catacombs are more valuable than the sweat and blood needed to acquire them.

A loose group of necromancers, tomb raiders, and cold-blooded killers, the Resurrectionists share a common enemity towards the Guild and anyone who denies them their macabre curiosities. Drawing from the unnatural power of the Grave Spirit, these necromancers conjure dark miracles that disturb the balance of life and death, flooding the abandoned parts of Malifaux with wandering dead.
