The FCTelecom FC-1003 RS-232 isolator connects serial devices via male and female DB9 ports. It uses passive conversion powered by the serial port and 3-wire, 3 kV isolation technology to protect devices from ground-loop voltages, surges, lightning, static electricity and hot plugging. The serial interface features electrostatic protection and interference resistance.
The device is plug-and-play, supports speeds of up to 256 Kbps, and can boost and extend serial port signals.
