The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 DC Contemporary is a prime ultra-wide-angle lens for Fujifilm X cameras with an APS-C sensor. Its maximum aperture of f/1.4 makes it easier to shoot in low light and control depth of field, while its 83.6° angle of view makes it suitable for landscapes, interiors, architecture, and astrophotography. Its focal length is equivalent to 24 mm in 35 mm format.

The optical design includes FLD and SLD elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, as well as three double-sided aspherical elements to control distortion and spherical aberrations. The rounded 9-blade aperture contributes to smooth bokeh. The stepping motor provides fast, quiet, and precise autofocus, with controlled changes in the angle of view while focusing.

Its compact design is suitable for photography, video recording, gimbal use, and vlogging. The construction is resistant to dust and splashes, while the front element has a water- and oil-repellent coating.
