The body is made of matte black plastic – the data remains invisible until you touch the surface to illuminate it. The top of the scale is water-resistant (the charging port is not). There is also a physical on/off switch.
The dimensions (152 mm x 130 mm x 26 mm) are ideal for pour-over brewing methods. You can easily place a Chemex, a server with dripper, or an AeroPress on top.

Time and weight are displayed on the LCD screen, hidden beneath the surface of the panel. The Black Mirror features a built-in sensor – it shows the total weight of the water you add. With 0.1g accuracy and a maximum capacity of 2000g, it is compatible with various coffee brewing devices. The Timemore Basic 2 includes an extra automatic timing function that starts the timer as soon as weight is detected. The scale operates with two buttons on the touch surface. The battery indicator shows the battery status. The device automatically switches off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
The flow rate indicator on the Timemore Basic 2 scale allows you to check your pouring technique, making the brewing process more consistent.
