The workbook contains a variety of exercises for all individual lessons. It supports students in independent practice, ensuring success in completing all tasks. This keeps everyone motivated and engaged.

Special emphasis is placed on:

• step-by-step grammar instruction with exercises ranging from very easy to complex over many pages per lesson
• targeted skill development aligned with the corresponding mini task in the school book
• ample review through special revision exercises in each lesson
• review pages at the end of each lesson for self-assessment with answers in the back of the book

The exercise pages follow the clear structure of the school book. Students have plenty of space to write, note, connect, draw, and listen.

In the workbook appendix, all students will find thematic vocabulary as mental images for each lesson, as well as verb cards in the middle of the book as detachable cardboard cards for marking.

Additionally, the workbook includes an extra review and practice book "Au secours!", through which students can independently review the most important grammar topics from the first three years of study at three levels. It starts with the conjugation of important irregular verbs and progresses to revising well-known tenses.

All audio files and explanatory videos are available free of charge to students as a material pack in the Cornelsen Lernen app.
