Instructions for use:

• Before use, soak the stone in water for 24 hours.
• Always follow the same angle and sharpening method.
• During sharpening, sprinkle some water while wiping the blade with a damp cloth.
• Start with the lower grit number and proceed to the higher one.
• If you use oil, do not use water.
• Place the blade flat on the stone, lift the spine of the blade, and move the knife in circular motions.

Sharpness check: Lightly pull the edge against your fingernail. If it cuts, the knife is sharp enough for most tasks.
