For the final protective coating of a swimming pool, Sika polyurethane sealant is a two-component paint, also suitable for cementitious surfaces. It withstands continuous contact with water, ultraviolet radiation and swimming pool treatment chemicals, while forming a hard film that retains its colour and gloss.
It is applied to suitably prepared concrete, cementitious substrates or compatible waterproofing systems, indoors and outdoors. Mix before use and, on new surfaces, apply two coats with a brush, roller or airless spray gun. The pool can be filled with water after approximately 7 days at 23 °C.
