Description & Specifications

The Freewell lens hood reduces light reflections and protects the front lens element from dust, scratches, and accidental impacts. Its built-in magnetic mount allows filters to be attached and changed quickly, without additional adapters. The housing is made of CNC-machined aluminum.

The UV, PL, and Glow Mist 1/4 filters are attached separately. The UV filter protects the front lens element and reduces the effects of ultraviolet radiation, the PL filter reduces reflections and enhances color saturation, while the Glow Mist 1/4 filter softens light. To install, rotate the lens hood clockwise until it is secured; its position can be adjusted using the included Allen key.
