The oil is specially designed for Stihl two-stroke engines. It is important to measure the exact amount of oil for the correct mix ratio. When preparing small amounts of fuel, even slight deviations can affect the mixture composition.

The operation with gasoline and oil must be done in a clean container. Start with half the amount of gasoline, add the full amount of oil, mix the blend, and then add the remaining gasoline.

Storing fuel mixtures for more than one month is prohibited. If the chainsaw is not used for an extended period, the fuel tank should be emptied and cleaned.

Note: Engines with a catalytic converter must be fed with a lead-free gasoline and oil mixture. Leaded gasoline destroys the catalytic converter. The minimum recommended octane rating is 90, as using gasoline with an octane rating below 90 can cause knocking and increased engine temperature.

Stihl oil is specially designed for optimal performance and results with two-stroke closed crankcase engines. The use of oils intended for outboard motors or four-stroke engines is prohibited.
