Description

In Thessaloniki during the crisis, Demios receives a strange phone call to visit his father, with whom he has been estranged for years. During this visit, secrets and guilt accumulated over the years surface, and Demios recounts what he experienced during the time their relationship was broken, taking a walk through the urban landscape. Somewhere you get your hands dirty whether you want to or not. This walk is accompanied by the song Polykatokies by Lex. A song that set the rhythm and melody for the difficult nights of an entire generation balancing between hardship and psychological dead ends. Because even apartment buildings have stories to tell... Polykatokies is a graphic novel inspired by Lex’s song of the same name, a narrative dive into the years of the economic crisis. With a pace reminiscent of a music video and images that shift between realistic and abstract, Demios unfolds the story of his life while he was estranged from his father. The story of an entire generation now becomes a comic by Dimitris-Kris Aggarai (Skylonuar, Michael Michael of Michael) and Mi Delta (Dead Dance, Goalkeeper Doctor – The Story Continues…).
