The X-Sense XC01-R standalone carbon monoxide detector uses an electrochemical sensor to monitor CO concentration and sounds an alarm when it detects a dangerous level. The LCD displays the current concentration, while the memory records the maximum concentration since the last reset.

The LED indicators show the power, fault, low battery and alarm status. The test/silence button lets you check that the device is working and temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The device has a 10-year lifespan and is powered by a replaceable CR123A or CR2/3A battery.
