    -1 star because my knives do not have a vertical angle at the blade-handle base, but a more obtuse one (chef handle), with the result that the smallest paring knife only catches one magnetic bar and not two that the whole base has, and it falls.
    I just place it upside down at the bottom of the base.
    If it were square at the handle joint, it would hold satisfactorily.
