Description & Specifications

Set of 5 wooden nesting dolls, decorated with pyrography designs. There are five dolls in the set. All the dolls, except the smallest one, can be opened and contain another doll inside. The height of the largest doll is approximately 15 centimeters.

  • Dimensions of each Matryoshka:
  • 1st doll: 15×7.5 cm
  • 2nd doll: 11×5.5 cm
  • 3rd doll: 9×4 cm
  • 4th doll: 6.2×3 cm
  • 5th doll: 4×2.2 cm

Material: natural lime wood. Hand-painted with acrylic colors in an artistic design. The surface with the gold trim is covered with a safe water-based varnish.

The nesting dolls are also known as Matryoshkas or Russian dolls. They are a set of wooden dolls that fit inside each other. The word “Matryoshka” derives from the Latin “mater,” meaning “mother.” The word “babuska” in Russian means “grandmother.” Matryoshka dolls are suitable for home decoration.

It is recommended not to wash them, but they can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth. Suitable for children aged 3 years and older, under adult supervision. Each doll is handmade, so final coloring and dimensions may vary slightly from those shown.
