Description
The cooler from ID-Cooling is passive, which means it does not have a fan and relies solely on the metal's conductivity to reduce the processor's temperature. It is bulkier than an active cooler but completely silent due to the lack of a fan. It has a 180W TDP. To properly operate the cooler, its wattage performance should be at least equal to the processor's Thermal Design Power (TDP). This will also help with the noise generated by the cooler's fan, as it won't reach its limits. A cooler with a lower TDP than the processor's may be less effective, noisy, and could potentially reduce the lifespan and performance of your processor.
