Olympic was a British ocean liner and sister ship to the Titanic, built at the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. The ship was launched in 1910 and entered service in 1911. It measured 269 meters in length and 28.3 meters in width, with a maximum speed of 24 knots.
Olympic served passengers for over 20 years and was used as a military transport ship during World War I, sinking the German submarine U-103 in 1918. After the war, it returned to passenger service, remaining a symbol of reliability and luxury until 1935.
