The Nasci model from Shimano has undergone significant changes compared to the previous FC model, featuring a new appearance and more technological characteristics. The use of the HAGANE gear and X–SHIP technology ensures smooth and silent operation of the reel. The new Nasci FD incorporates CoreProtect technology in the line roller, offering IPX4 level waterproofing, as well as a G Free body made with Ci4+. Additionally, it features an ARC spool and S A–RB bearings, which are designed to withstand pressure, ensuring top performance.

The addition of Silent Drive technology provides almost silent operation, while the new ANTITWISTFIN technology improves the pickup function, guiding the line or fishing line onto the roller and reducing tangles.
