The lightweight luggage rack is designed for recreational trips. The maximum load capacity with backpacks is 15 kg. This has been confirmed by the manufacturer and tested on a TMSA control device. The slim steel tubes with an 8 mm diameter provide adequate load capacity and stiffness for bicycles with 26-28 inch wheels.
