Himalaya Diarex

Himalaya Diarex is an Ayurvedic herbal formula that supports normal bowel function and helps control acute and chronic diarrhea. Its action is based on traditional Ayurvedic texts and modern scientific research.

Indications:

• Acute and chronic diarrhea
• Acute and chronic amoebiasis
• As adjunctive therapy in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Main Ingredients:

• Bael (Bilva): The Bael fruit offers significant benefits for intestinal disorders. The unripe fruit is rich in tannins, making it effective for dysentery and diarrhea. It exhibits antibacterial and antiviral activity against pathogenic microorganisms causing intestinal infections.
• Coneru (Kutaja): A powerful astringent, useful in managing amoebic dysentery and diarrhea. It inhibits the growth of bacteria such as Salmonella and Shigella, which are associated with gastrointestinal infections.

Dosage:

• Adults: 1–2 tablets, 2 to 3 times daily, until symptoms are controlled.
• Children: ½ tablet, twice daily.
