The Pentair 2g Slimline water filter system filters water under the kitchen counter and connects to the cold water supply, with a separate faucet on the countertop. The three-stage system includes a 5 μm polypropylene filter to trap solid particles, a Purewater CL2510 activated carbon filter with a 0.5-micron density, and a Purewater UF-10 inline filter with a 0.01-micron density. The activated carbon filter reduces heavy metals, chlorine, and organic compounds, while improving the taste and odor of the water; the inline filter is designed to remove microbes, cysts, and bacteria.

The filter housing is metal, white, and compatible with 10" filters. It has 1/4" Quick Connect water inlet and outlet connections and a maximum operating temperature of 51.7 °C.
