The Pentair 2g Slimline dual water filter system is installed under the kitchen sink and connects directly to the cold water supply. It includes a 5 μm polypropylene filter and a Purewater CL2510 solid carbon block filter with a filtration rating of 0.5 microns. The carbon filter reduces chlorine, heavy metals, organic compounds and odors, while improving the taste of the water.

The filter housing is metal, white and accepts 10" filter cartridges. It has 1/2" male brass inlet and outlet connections, a maximum operating pressure of 8.6 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 51.7 °C. The filters are easy to replace; replace them according to their filtration capacity or every 12 months.
