Please Be Happy is a warm alternative life visual novel set in a fictional version of Wellington, New Zealand.

Miho, born as a fox in the Korean forest, carries in her memory the traveler who showed her kindness and spoke to her about home.

Now more human than fox, Miho has spent a long time searching for her person. She arrives by airship in Wellington, one of the jewels of New Zealand's floating islands.

Despite the years she spent observing humans, she still has much to learn about their culture and society. Until now, she has made a living as a thief, with her sharp senses allowing her to easily exploit people.

She has also seen many of humanity's darker sides. Only after meeting Juliet, the owner of a small library, and Aspen, an aspiring writer, does she begin to understand what kindness is and that there is more good than bad in the human world.
