Recommended prePrimer (not included): 3M Tape Primer 94 for gelcoat/painted metals; for LSE plastics (PP/PE/TPO) only with 3M Adhesion Promoter 4298.

Installation instructions:

• Design: place the cold tape on the bow, mark the central axis and the start/end points.
• Surface preparation: lightly sand the bonding area with fine Scotch-Brite or P180-P220 sandpaper until uniformly matte; remove dust.
• Disinfection: thoroughly clean with isopropyl alcohol and lint-free cloths; allow full evaporation.
• PrePrimer: mask off the edges and apply a very thin layer of 3M Tape Primer 94; wait ~5 minutes at room temperature until the film dries.
• Working conditions: ideal tape + substrate temperature 20-30°C; avoid areas with seams/sharp edges or high welds.
