The Pentair 2g Slimline single water filter system is installed under the counter and connects to the cold water supply. It includes the Purewater CL2510 replacement filter, made with solid coconut-shell activated carbon and a filtration rating of 0.5 microns, as well as a faucet for dispensing filtered water.

The filter reduces chlorine, heavy metals, organic compounds, turbidity, suspended particles, and Giardia, Cryptosporidium, and Toxoplasma cysts, while improving the taste and odor of the water. The filter housing accepts 10" activated carbon filters and has brass inlet and outlet connections with 1/2" male threads. Replace the filter every 12 months or according to the product’s stated filtration capacity.
