The Filtrato WHF12-USA water filter system is installed under the counter and connects directly to the cold water supply. It includes a Purewater CL2510 replacement filter made of solid coconut-shell activated carbon, with a nominal filtration rating of 0.5 microns. The filter reduces chlorine, odors and chlorine by-products, as well as heavy metals, organic compounds, turbidity, cysts, microorganisms, suspended particles and pesticides.

The heavy-duty metal filter housing accepts 10" activated carbon cartridges. The brass inlet and outlet have a ½" diameter, and the maximum operating temperature is 51.7 °C. Replace the filter according to its filtration capacity or every 12 months.
