The Filtrato dual water filter system is installed under the kitchen counter and connects to the cold water supply via a tee, with a separate faucet mounted on the countertop. It includes a 5-micron polypropylene filter in the first stage and a Purewater CL2510 carbon block filter in the second stage. The carbon filter has a filtration rating of 0.5 microns and uses technology to reduce heavy metals, chlorine and organic compounds.

The system accepts 10" filter cartridges and has 1/4" brass water inlet and outlet connections. The carbon filter also reduces odors, turbidity, cysts, microorganisms, suspended particles and pesticides. Replace the filters according to their filtration capacity or every 12 months.
