Κατασκευάζεται με σώμα από ξύλο φράξου (Ash), προσφέροντας αυξημένη ευκρίνεια, φωτεινή ακουστική απόκριση και εκτεταμένο sustain. Συνδυάζεται με βιδωτό (bolt-on) μπράτσο Wizard III από σφένδαμο (Maple), το οποίο διακρίνεται για το λεπτό και επίπεδο προφίλ του, διευκολύνοντας την ταχύτητα και την ακρίβεια κατά το παίξιμο. Η ταστιέρα από Jatoba φιλοξενεί 24 τάστα Jumbo, παρέχοντας άμεση απόκριση. S Series Body Design & Wizard III Neck

The body of the Ibanez S520AH follows the ergonomic design of the S series, featuring exceptionally thin edges and a contoured profile that reduces the instrument’s overall weight and ensures playing comfort. The use of ash offers balanced bass and bright high frequencies. The maple Wizard III neck has a slim, flat profile that allows for fast hand movement, while the Jatoba fingerboard has a hard structure that enhances midrange clarity.

Quantum Pickups & Wiring Versatility

The guitar features two passive Quantum humbucker pickups in the neck and bridge positions. The ceramic magnets deliver high output, with a fast response in the low frequencies and clarity in the highs, making them suitable for distorted rhythm playing and solos. The 5-way selector switch expands the tonal palette, allowing the neck pickup to be wired in parallel, as well as combining the inner coils of both pickups for clean tones.

Edge-Zero II Tremolo System & Stability

The Edge-Zero II tremolo system features a low-profile design that prevents interference with the picking hand during palm muting. Its double-locking construction, combined with the locking nut at the headstock, keeps the tuning stable, allowing for wide pitch variations using the tremolo arm.
