Meranti Body & Quilted Maple Top

The body of the Ibanez RG450QMB is made of meranti, which offers a warm tonal character with well-defined mids. The quilted maple veneer top adds a distinctive look beneath the Transparent Gray Burst finish, while the ergonomic body contours ensure comfort during use.

Wizard III Neck & Jatoba Fretboard

The bolt-on Wizard III maple neck stands out for its slim, fast, and sturdy construction, offering unrestricted access to the higher frets. The jatoba fretboard features a hard structure that enhances mid- and high-frequency clarity, while the 24 Jumbo frets make bends and fast playing easier.

Quantum HSH Pickup Configuration & Electronics

The guitar features Ibanez Quantum passive pickups in an HSH configuration (humbuckers at the bridge and neck, and a single-coil pickup in the middle position). The ceramic pickups deliver high output with a fast bass response and clear highs. The 5-way selector switch offers a variety of pickup combinations, providing both full humbucker tones and crisp single-coil sounds.

DL Tremolo System & Tuning Stability

The DL Tremolo bridge is a double-locking tremolo system designed to keep the guitar in tune, even after extensive use of the tremolo arm. Combined with the locking nut at the headstock, it ensures precise intonation and string action adjustment.
