This document presents research findings regarding students' perceptions at the University of Nairobi concerning the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) in Kenya. It also captures their opinions on the usefulness and effectiveness of HELB in providing loans to university students.

The study aims to determine the role of HELB in meeting students' financial needs and to assess the adequacy of these loans. Specifically, it examines whether students require guidance in managing their loans. Additionally, it explores students' knowledge about HELB before entering university.
