The vidaXL 42024840 awning frame features folding arms and can be operated electrically or manually using a crank to adjust the extension. Its semi-cassette design protects the fabric and internal mechanism when the awning is retracted. It is designed for outdoor wall mounting.

The built-in LEDs are powered by a solar panel. A remote control is included and requires a CR2032 battery, which is not included. The frame is sold without a fabric cover or valance.
