The PLC used in our project is the Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC, CPU 1214C AC/DC/RLY, and the SIMATIC S7-1200 Power Module PM1207 power supply unit.
A brief description of the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) portal and its features is provided. Additionally, the operation of the PLC using Ladder logic and communication with SCADA are explained.
