The Mass GI 3.5 transformer provides a safe connection between the boat and the shore installation, an essential part of the electrical system. It offers galvanic electrical isolation between the shore power and the boat's power supply, preventing any electrical corrosion of metal parts while maintaining grounding.

The technology of the Mass GI transformer is lightweight, silent, reliable, and easy to use. It features state-of-the-art electronic components with Soft Start operation to handle peak loads when connecting to the grid. The LED indicators on the casing show charging and overload status. The transformer can be remotely controlled. It is 75% lighter and 60% smaller than low-frequency transformers.

Parallel connection of Mass GI units increases AC power capacity. Two units of 16 A/3.5 kW provide 32 A/7 kW, while four units offer 64 A/14 kW.

The installation can be done in any position, as the durable aluminum enclosure makes this transformer unit ideal for wall or floor mounting. Elastic mounts are not required because the unit does not vibrate or produce noise. The Mass GI also features professional connections with cable glands with pressure relief.
