Clear Crackle Base, colorless, which is the first step in the crackle process, creates a white crackle effect on the surface of the object, giving a worn, aged appearance. It helps in breaking the pattern that will be created with the crackle paint, which is the second step of the technique.

It is applied over the Craquele Primer. The application should be made with the necessary amount in a single stroke, without reapplication or repetition. The result depends on the amount used and the direction of application.

After the crackle primer dries well, a thick layer of white crackle is applied and allowed to dry thoroughly.
