The Pletscher Comp 40 ARA is a Swiss-made bicycle stand with external spring tension. One of its main advantages is that it automatically folds when the bike returns from an inclined to an upright position. It is made from cast and coated aluminum, with a hardened steel pin, providing great durability. The model is compatible with wheels ranging from 20 to 29 inches in diameter. To adjust the stand to the appropriate size for the bicycle, it can be cut along the line indicated by the manufacturer. The maximum load capacity is 25 kg. Installation is quite simple, as the stand is mounted on the outer side of the frame in special holes (which must be threaded). The hole spacing is 40 mm.
