The Pletscher Comp ARA 2 bike stand is a high-quality accessory suitable for almost every type of bicycle, including road and mountain bikes. It is made from durable yet lightweight GD-AlSi9Cu3 pressure aluminum and hardened steel (plate). The patented damping mechanism from Pletscher for the folded position sets this model apart from others. It allows the stand to fold smoothly and automatically when the bike is moved to an upright position.
This model is designed for bikes with 29-inch wheels. However, the length of the foot can be cut to suit individual needs. A special scale on the leg makes it suitable for bikes with wheel sizes ranging from 20 to 28 inches.
The Pletscher Comp ARA 2 attaches externally to threaded holes on the frame with a diameter of 18 mm. The maximum load capacity is 25 kg, with a weight of 324 g without screws and the stand. Included in the package: 2 M5x20 mounting screws, 2 spring washers.
