The Bostik chemical sealant in a cartridge is designed for sealing flanges and applications involving high temperatures. The acetoxy silicone cures with atmospheric moisture to form an elastic seal.
It is used as a gasket maker on engine components, gearboxes, differentials, heating systems, furnaces and thermostats. It cannot be painted.
