Cut madder root (Rubia tinctorum), dried and cut into small pieces for easy use. Traditionally used in herbal dyeing for the production of red shades, as well as in folklore and botanical applications. Natural plant-based product, without additives.

Dosage: 70 gr. madder root for 15 eggs.

Medicinal properties: The root contains glycosides (ruberythric acid, asperuloside), citric acid, tannins and pectic substances, sugar, protein, and a small amount of fatty oil. The glycosides are reported to have anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effects on the urinary system.
