The RAKI UROJAI saucepan is made from carbon steel and features an enameled coating of 5.5L. The coating has been achieved through a dipping process, providing a durable and high-quality surface compared to the spray enamel process. Due to this process, small spots may be visible on the exterior surface of the saucepan, resulting from the drying gaps.
Before first use, it's necessary to harden the enamel as follows: add water and salt to the container in a ratio of 2 tablespoons of salt per 1 liter of water, bring the liquid to a boil, then remove the container from the heat. Wait for the liquid to cool completely, then drain it.
Instructions for use and maintenance:
- Avoid hitting the product with metal utensils, as the enamel is sensitive and small cracks may form.
- Thermal shocks can damage the product.
- Do not pour cold liquids into a hot product and vice versa.
- Do not leave the product with liquids in the freezer, as the expansion of the liquid can damage the enamel.
- Never leave an empty enameled item on the heat, as overheating will harm the enamel.
- Always place the product on a burner suitable for its size.
- To clean burned food, pour cold water with a few tablespoons of salt and baking soda and let it sit for 1 - 1.5 hours. Then, wash with water, regular dish soap, and a soft sponge.
- Do not use abrasive products or metal sponges for cleaning.
- If the enamel starts to fade, boil the product in water with a small amount of dish soap, then rinse well with warm water.
- Do not use the product if the interior enamel is damaged.
- The product can be placed in the oven at temperatures from 95-150 °C. In this case, exposure to heat does not affect the protective coating.
