No more failed gear shifts. The X-Glide technology provides the correct engagement of gears at all times. It is designed to optimize and improve shift quality and is used in the manufacturing of disc brakes, front derailleurs, and SRAM cassettes. Originally developed by Truvativ engineers, it required a completely new design of the traditional disc structure from scratch. Discs of different sizes have been precisely matched, revolutionizing the principle and placement of components responsible for gear shifting, as well as the movement of the chain up and down along the sides of the discs. The X-Glide technology doubles the number of potential chain engagement points. The ramps placed on the disc align with the chain links, unlike traditional solutions where the engagement point is the outer plate of the link.
