Description

The Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) provides valuable performance data at the module level. It is one of the smallest solar energy data loggers on the planet and acts as a data hub for Tigo O, S, and M products. It supports the connection of inverters, batteries, meters, and other devices. Historical and real-time data from the CCA can be monitored on the Tigo Energy Intelligence platform. The CCA is available as a set (includes a TAP antenna and a DIN rail power supply) and is compatible with all major inverter and module manufacturers worldwide.

Features:
  • Universal data logger that works with TAP, TS4-AO
Specifications:
  • Compatible with Tigo TS4-AO
  • Compatibility with over 2,000 inverter models
  • Allows module-level disconnection
  • Enables system commissioning directly on-site via the Energy Intelligence app
  • High compatibility with third-party devices (weather stations, charge controllers, meters, etc.)

The Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) set includes everything necessary for communication with the Tigo TS4 MLPE device series for a typical residential installation. The outdoor set includes a CCA, a Gateway, and a DIN rail power supply. Once installed, it allows module-level data monitoring through Tigo’s cloud.

The CCA is powered by AC power and connects to the internet router via Wi-Fi or direct data connection. The TAP antenna is installed on the roof at the center of the solar system and connects to the CCA via a Cat5/RS-485 cable. The Cat5/RS-485 cable must be installed in a way suitable for outdoor use and UV-resistant to prevent weather-related damage. The TAP communicates wirelessly with each Tigo Optimizer and monitors the system using the Tigo SMART app.

If the solar system is very large, spans multiple roof surfaces, or there are physical obstacles between the solar modules, additional TAPs may be required. When multiple TAPs are used, they are connected to each other using Cat5/RS-485 cable. Most small residential installations use a single TAP if all solar modules are on the same roof surface.

Each TAP supports up to 300 optimizers within a 35-meter radius, without physical obstacles. Each CCA supports up to 7 TAPs with a maximum of 900 optimizers per CCA. If more than 900 optimizers are installed, additional CCAs can simply be added.

The set includes:
  • Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA)
  • DIN rail power supply
  • TAP
DIN Rail Power Supply:
  • Not recommended for outdoor use; installed inside an enclosure
  • Input: 100-240VAC 50/60Hz 0.88A
  • Output: 24VDC @ 1A

The power supply for the Cloud Connect Advanced consumes less than 1 A, allowing installation on GPO circuits.
