The Dartmoor Rocbird MTB frame is a new model in the family of frames featuring the Dartmoor logo, designed for mountain biking. The designers created it as a successor to the popular Blackbird and Bluebird series. Their focus has been on optimizing suspension performance, ensuring that the Dartmoor Rocbird MTB frame can easily handle not only trail rides but also demanding enduro routes.
The frame is built from high-quality aluminum, renowned for its lightweight and high durability. Thanks to precise manufacturing, it is lighter than the Dartmoor Thunderbird series while maintaining the same performance. The frame is designed with a Horst link suspension, allowing for the use of air and coil shocks. The suspension works exceptionally well, even during sudden and abrupt braking.
The frame is tailored for a combination of different wheel sizes – larger (29") at the front and smaller (27.5") at the rear. This setup promotes a comfortable and stable ride, especially during uphill climbs. The manufacturer offers riders the option to install two suspension travel options: 160-170 mm or 140-150 mm, depending on user preferences for more enduro or trail riding.
