Description

Economical and reliable way to check your FSH levels and find out if your follicle reserve is at satisfactory levels or decreasing.

FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), which causes the development of follicles, is secreted by the pituitary gland at the beginning of the cycle. During the next 14 days, the eggs grow and mature, while the ovary continuously produces increasing amounts of estrogen. If enough estrogen is produced, the release of FSH self-regulates, resulting in a decrease in the amount of FSH produced. This allows only one of the follicles (the largest) to continue its development.

If a woman shows symptoms of infertility or is approaching menopause, she likely has a low number of follicles, which is indicated by high levels of the hormone FSH. FSH tests can determine this amount of FSH hormone in the urine.
