The adapter [ EASY 49694 ] for SSD MacBook Pro A1708 (2016-2017) supports:

• Connection of 22+34 pin M-key NVME and SATA M.2 SSD.
• AHCI protocol for MacBook Air or Pro 2013-2017.
• Does not support the SATA B-key NGFF M.2 SSD protocol.

When replacing the hard drive, a system upgrade to version 10.14 or later is required. It is recommended to update the BIOS to obtain the NVME NGFF M.2 driver. After completing the upgrade, the original SSD can be removed.

Note: Dual system installation does not support Windows 7, only Windows 10.

• For beginners, the use of AHCI M.2 SSD is recommended.
• The installation is simple, allowing immediate connection and installation of the new system.
• For more experienced users, NVME M.2 SSD are recommended.
