Usage: Use it alone for orchids and other epiphytic plants that require very high aeration. Mix it with bark, perlite, or other materials for a lighter tropical mix. Place it on the surface and use as mulch to preserve moisture on the top of the pot. Water well and allow the substrate to aerate properly between waterings.
