The coconut fiber growing medium is used for seed germination and for growing microgreens, sprouts, wheatgrass, herbs, and ornamental or medicinal grasses. Its natural, biodegradable composition is chemically neutral and does not affect the pH of the nutrient solution.
The fibers retain water and release it gradually, while the structure of the medium allows roots to grow through it. It can be cut with ordinary scissors to fit trays, pots, or hydroponic systems.
