The power supply concerns the voltage of the current that the LED strip must have.

2. If the LED strip does not include a power supply, then the power supply must be purchased separately. We must ensure that the power supply has the corresponding voltage (volt) in order to connect it to the outlet.

This concerns the dimensions of the LEDs on the strip. For example, an SMD 3528 strip has LEDs with a width of 3.5mm and a length of 2.8mm.

SMD5050

The 5050 LED is brighter than the 3528 and suitable for large surfaces and spaces with ambient light. Additionally, they are better for applications with colors (RGB).
