The Orno OR-DC-642 standalone smoke detector uses an optical method to detect smoke particles indoors and warn of a potential fire hazard. It connects to a Wi-Fi network, allowing remote control and status monitoring via the Tuya Smart and SmartLife apps on Android or iOS devices. In the event of danger, it activates audible and visual alarms and can also send a notification to your phone.

The TEST button checks that the device is working and can also be used to silence the alarm. The detector indicates when the batteries need replacing.
