The Batura jacket is one of Vaude's most advanced offerings, designed for extreme mountain conditions. It is a fully technical product that combines the heavy warmth of down with the reliability of modern synthetic materials, while adhering to the highest environmental standards.
- Insulation (HeatSphere Eco): This filling material consists of innovative recycled "buttons" that, due to their properties (lightweight and durable), resemble natural down but have a significant advantage – they retain their insulating properties even when wet.
- Outer material (Pertex® Quantum): An extremely lightweight yet highly durable fabric that protects against wind and light rain (DWR). It is designed to prevent the down from escaping.
- Fit: Specifically designed for female anatomy, with a slightly longer back for better waist protection against the cold. The jacket is fashioned to allow unrestricted movement during climbing or hiking with a backpack.
- Eco-friendliness (Green Shape Label): The jacket is climate-neutral. It is made almost entirely from recycled materials, reducing the carbon footprint and supporting environmental protection.
- Practicality: Two high front pockets (compatible with climbing harnesses or backpack straps). The jacket is highly compressible – it can be folded into its own internal pocket, taking up minimal space in a backpack. Elastic cuffs and an adjustable drawstring at the hem provide better insulation.
