The Traffic Code, Law 2696/1999, in the series "CONTEMPORARY LEGISLATION," is fully updated with Laws 3710/2008, 3904/2010, 3897/2010, 3920/2011, 4055/2012, 4058/2012, 4070/2012, 4071/2012, 4150/2013, 4155/2013, 4199/2013, 4203/2013, 4233/2014, 4275/2014, 4281/2014, 4286/2014, and 4313/2014.

Specifically, according to Article 31 paragraph 1 of Law 3904/2010, it is stated that: "All infractions of the Traffic Code punishable as misdemeanors, enacted by article one of Law 2696/1999, are punishable by detention for up to six (6) months and a fine of up to three thousand (3,000) euros, except for the acts specified in articles 34 paragraph 12, 43 paragraphs 2 cases a΄, b΄ and 4, 85 paragraph 5, and 98 paragraph 2, which continue to be prosecuted as misdemeanors with the penalties specified in their respective provisions."

Furthermore, Law 3446/2006 is provided, specifically the provisions related to violations committed by trucks, updated with Laws 3534/2007, 3710/2008, 3897/2010, 3996/2011, 4150/2013, and 4313/2014.

Finally, Presidential Decree 51/2012 "Adjustment of Greek legislation to Directive 2006/126/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 20, 2006, as amended by Directives 2008/65/EC, 2009/113/EC, and 2011/94/EU" is provided, updated with Laws 4233/2014, 4155/2013, and P.D. 287/2001 "Special Electronic Devices for the Certification of Violations of the Traffic Code." An appendix includes traffic signs and signals, as well as a table of violations, penalties, and administrative measures.
