The Ninja RAW – 5" HDMI Monitor-Recorder is a portable 5" recording monitor with high brightness of 1500 nits, suitable for use in demanding shooting environments. It supports recording via HDMI directly from the camera's sensor in Apple ProRes and ProRes RAW, onto CFexpress Type B media or external drives via USB-C.

It includes essential monitoring tools such as EL Zone false color, focus peaking, and waveform. Additionally, it offers the ability to control basic camera parameters such as ISO, shutter, aperture, and white balance. It features locking adapters for HDMI and USB-C and operates with NP-F batteries, USB-C power, or DC power supply.

Touch to focus: Tap the Ninja RAW touch screen for automatic focus on the selected point. This function utilizes the camera's focus modes, such as focus tracking, for easy control and clear images.

Record to CFexpress: Supports CFexpress Type B cards (sold separately), providing high speeds, higher resolutions, and reliable recording for ProRes RAW workflows.

USB-C: Features three USB-C ports, one for power and two for connecting external storage devices or network adapters. Designed to meet modern content production needs.

Tally light: The addition of a tally light provides clear status indication, especially useful in live productions. When recording, the light turns red (on-air), while green indicates preview or standby.

LOG formats: Supports LOG profiles from leading manufacturers like Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Fujifilm, ARRI, and RED. Using LOG provides greater dynamic range and increased flexibility in color grading.

Professional monitoring tools: Offers comprehensive monitoring tools with one-touch functions for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebra, false color (ARRI and EL Zone), frame guides, safe areas, grid, waveform, RGB parade, and vectorscope. Also supports 3D/1D LUTs (with .cube files) and anamorphic de-squeeze for correct display on anamorphic lenses.

LUTs: Accepts LOG signals from the camera and provides real-time LUT preview to simulate the final image in Rec.709, while recording in high-quality ProRes, DNxHR, or ProRes RAW. Supports custom LUTs (.cube) from CFexpress or SSD, combined with monitoring tools for precise exposure control.
